What does the reflection in your mirror tell you?

What reflection do you see in the mirror of your life? Have you processed why you see what you see? Or have you merely accepted that the reflection is what it is? The mirror in your life usually determines how you see things: yourself, the world, others and circumstances. While the experiences you have often times changes how you perceive what you see in that reflection. Most times it starts off pure and innocent. As a child, life is wonderful. Everything is good, safe and free from threats of harm until one day disappointment, fear or loss shows up and throws its first rock at your mirror. Cracked or broken, an optimistic reflection is now distorted, changing the view of life and what is expected from it. Life as it continues, and it will, if the previous experiences are not processed correctly brokenness, fear, doubt and negativity becomes all the mirror displays in the reflection seen despite what the reality is. A debilitating view that now limits your possibilities because the cracks and brokenness of the reflection in the mirror are blinders. The expectation, regardless of what it is, is negative. Even though good is happening all around, experiences have shaped your expectations. I know you are wondering why I am writing about this. Well, it’s because I too have a mirror that has had many rocks thrown at it. I, too, have seen a reflection that was distorted. Life didn’t stop because of all the rocks thrown at me nor did I stop seeing a reflection but I stopped accepting the reflection of brokenness the mirror was displaying to me. As a matter of fact, I replaced it! No buying a new mirror is not the same as buying a new life. Buying a new mirror was me changing my perspective of what I saw in the reflection. As you look in the mirror, what does the reflection show you about you and how do you perceive it? If the reflection you see is distorted, skewed or even shattered I encourage you to MOVE PURPOSEFULLY as you seek wholeness from the inside out. As you continuously WORK ON WINNING……. KEEP GRINDIN’, STAY FOCUSED and ALWAYS TEE IT UP!
