In order to understand your position, you have to understand YOUR position! Just in case that doesn’t make sense, you have to know exactly where you want to go or what you want to accomplish before you lead. Leading, whether it is of people or a mission requires you to have a direction. While book knowledge is great to have it will not be enough. As a leader, be aware of the tools you will need for what you are out to acquire and be adamant in accessing them. The greatest one is past and current life experiences that if used correctly, can assist you in leading effectively. THE TIME IS NOW so LIVE what you BELIEVE in! A leader who possesses hands on experience as an extension of great knowledge is a factor in achieving the highest success. People are more apt to follow a leader who has suffered, endured, developed, grown and survived. Yes, having that type of challenge can be exhausting as many things are and there is a lot that may not make sense at the time but allow them to shape you. Caterpillars eventually become butterflies so don’t allow anything to hinder your metamorphosis. At some point you will be able to reflect back and see how the orchestration of the journey, the good, the bad, and the ugly has positioned you in this place to lead. While the road appears twisted, crooked and bent their experience will provide you provision in leading others or the mission so MOVE PURPOSEFULLY as you continue to WORK ON WINNING...IT'S A MOVEMENT...KEEP GRINDIN, STAY FOCUSED AND ALWAYS TEE IT UP!
